Ganpatipule

<div><div><div><div><div><div>Nestled along the emerald Ratnagiri coastline, Ganpatipule is celebrated for its 400-year-old self-manifested seaside Ganesha temple, clean white sands, and scenic cliff-side coastal drives.</div></div></div></div></div></div>

Ganpatipule is a serene temple town located in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra, where the rolling Western Ghat hills merge into the Arabian Sea. Renowned primarily for the Swayambhu (self-originated) Ganpati Temple situated right on the golden sands, pilgrims observe the unique tradition of circumambulating (Pradakshina) the entire green hillock surrounding the temple. Beyond its spiritual significance, Ganpatipule Beach and nearby Aare Ware beaches offer untouched coastal scenery, clear waters, dense groves of coconut and betel nut palms, and the scenic Aare Ware Marine Drive. It serves as an ideal base to explore nearby maritime history at Jaigad Fort, Konkani heritage at Prachin Konkan Museum, and Ratnagiri's Alphonso mango orchards.
